This admission information is addressed to prospective students from abroad.
REGISTRATION AND SELECTION
- Registration is done online through the international office website of UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri;
- The selection process is carried out online and offline with the implementation technical provisions which will be regulated later.
- The registration schedule will be opened from January to March each year online through the UIN Prof. International Office website. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri
- The registration file must have been received by the Chancellor of UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto no later than the end of March;
- The selection process will be held in April – May each year.
- The results of the student admissions selection will be announced at the end of May;
- The results of the selection will be announced through the website of the Office of International Affairs (KUI) of UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto and the student’s e-mail address and a copy to the Indonesian Embassy in his country of origin or the head of the representative/consulate/consul general.
- Provisions a to g are institutional in nature which apply to non-scholarship students from the Indonesian Ministry of Religion or other sponsoring institutions. Other provisions other than those in provisions a to g follow the provisions imposed by the scholarship granting institution.
- Students who pass the selection must be in Indonesia in early June;
- Students who pass the selection will take part in the Intensive BIPA for 3 months from June to August.
REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate Program
- Have legal citizenship;
- Maximum age of 23 years;
- Minimum TOEFL (International) score of 500 or IELTS minimum score of 6.0 or TOAFL score of 450
- Attach Curriculum Vitae;
- Attach from High School or equivalent diploma legalized by the Embassy of the country of origin;
- Complete the following documents:
- Registration form;
- Photocopy of passport and one that is still valid for at least 1 year;
- 6 (six) color 4 x 6 photos;
- Letter of recommendation from the Representative of the Republic of Indonesia in the country of origin/nearest;
- Health certificate, free of HIV/AIDS, and drugs from a doctor and legalized by the local/nearest Indonesian Embassy/KJRI; and
- Not allowed to marry an Indonesian citizen while studying.
- Prepare a minimum living cost for 3 months
- All documents must be translated into English or Indonesian.
- Attach a letter of acceptance from UIN Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri
Master Program
- Have legal citizenship;
- Maximum age 35 years;
- Attach Curriculum Vitae;
- Attach a bachelor’s degree or equivalent that has been translated into English and legalized by the Indonesian embassy in the country of origin;
- Minimum TOEFL (International) score of 550 or minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or TOAFL score of 500
- Complete and collect the following documents:
- Registration form;
- Copy of passport which is still valid for at least 1 year
- 6 (six) color 4 x 6 photos;
- Recommendation letters of at least two academic lecturers/supervisors at the origin university;
- Photocopies of diplomas and transcripts that have been translated into English/Arabic/Indonesian and have been legalized by the Ministry of Education of the country of origin;
- Health certificate, free of HIV/AIDS, and drugs
- Prepare a minimum living cost for 3 months from a doctor and legalized by the Indonesian Embassy/KJRI local/nearest;
- Permission letter from the institution where you work if you are already working.

Doctoral Program
- Have legal citizenship;
- Maximum age 45 years;
- Attach Curriculum Vitae;
- Attach a bachelor’s degree certificate of Strata 2 or its equivalent;
- Minimum TOEFL (International) score of 550 or minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or TOAFL score of 450
- Complete and collect the following documents:
- Registration form;
- Photocopy of passport;
- 6 (six) color 4 x 6 photos;
- Letters of recommendation of at least two professors at universities;
- Photocopies of diplomas and transcripts that have been translated into English/Arabic/Indonesian and have been legalized by the Ministry of Education of the country of origin;
- Health certificate, free of HIV/AIDS, and drugs from a doctor;
- Letter of recommendation from the Representative of the Republic of Indonesia in the country of origin/nearest;
- Permission letter from the institution where you work if you are already working; dn
- Research proposal and evidence of correspondence with prospective supervisors.
